homecoming

A few hours from now, Megan and I will jump aboard a plane bound for Albany, then take the Mass Pike East to Boston. At 8:05 Saturday night, I'll be sitting at Fenway Park for Game 1 of the World Series, courtesy of tickets scored by Megan's Dad. Yes, I'm stunned. No, it hasn't sunk in yet. Sox vs. Cardinals.!!!??? This incredible run by the Red Sox...Watching the playoffs from afar on TV...every shot of the Boston skyline, the bars, the people, the city...all so familiar...and missing it badly. But this weekend we'll be able to take it all in, soak up the energy, and be a part of it.
